The accommodations were excellent as usual, very clean, although an extra kitchen garbage bag would be appreciated , also there was no toilet paper, had to purchase our own.

Great place!! Definitely will be back!! Just hope next stay will be longer!! We did not have the attachments to vacuum though , but I did sweep with a broom.

We thank you so much for lending us this wonderful home away from home. This cabin has such character and just simply captivated each one of us and touched our hearts. Actually we really hate to leave but just know that we shall return.

We could not have asked for a better cabin! The pictures on the web site don't do it justice! We were extremely impressed! So much that we are all planning on coming up in the fall and winter. We want "Hemlock Haven" to be our "Home Away From Home." We went on 2 long hikes and rode the horses down the street. We can't wait to come back and ride "Freedom" and "Rebel" again! We will definitely be telling all of our friends and family how "amazing" Hemlock Haven Cabin is!

This place is perfection! I have never seen such a clean rental. The forest is amazing. We went on a long hike. Wish I could move here for the summer. Talk about relaxing. The four of us will be returning in the fall. Love it!!

Will be back to stay here again. Great place to relax, fish and explore.Go see the Elk! Awesome! It is a great area to live with all the wildlife around. We enjoyed it alot. It was nice to be here. Thank you for the cabin!

Mom and I came up for a couple of days to relax & enjoy the sites. WEather was perfect. Hoped to see more animal life. Saw 2 deer while unloading the car but that was all. Climbed to the top of the Fire Tower, walked along the river, drove through the area making many stops. Cabin very comfortable. Would come back. Go Browns!!

Cook Forest Top Hill Cabins are conveniently located and we stayed at Hemlock Haven. The cabin was great, with spacious rooms and extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked and fire wood was delivered directly to the cabin each day. I would definitely stay here again - the owners are very helpful, friendly and extremely professional. I have stayed at other properties in the general area and this was by far my most positive experience. I would highly recommend this property to others.

I really enjoyed the stay here. It's just like home but away from all the stress of everything. The kids enjoyed it also. We went to the river, did go-carts, bumper boats and the 100 foot slide. We went shopping at "Simple Things! We caught a snake, lots of toads and a salamander. The kids went for walks and saw 8 deer and 1 buck.

It is beautiful here, just like home but a little more peaceful. There is alot to do, but wish we could have stayed longer. Love it here. Came here with my husband and 3 children, ages 19, 17, 16. We thought the cabin was great!! We played alot of cornhole, volleyball and badmitten; all things we could have done at home, but wouldn't have! Sometimes just getting away makes a world of difference. (No one has other things to do or places to go, so they hang out with Mom and Dad!) We offered to rent canoes or go horseback riding but they were content with spending family time at the cabin. We did convince them to go Putt-Putt Golf and also fishing. We would love to come back again and get this same cabin. It was very well equipped and homey. Thanks for the memories!!

Thank you for the really nice cabin. Everything was so clean! We really had a nice trip. We just wish we were here longer. Next year will have to book the cabin for a week! Thanks again. No worries, just like home! Very quiet and peaceful, close to everything!

Easter Get Away! It rained the whole time but we had a great time hiking, biking, fly fishing and learning to tie flies. Cabin was great! Had an awesome visit.

10 cases of Beer, 11 Bottles of Homemade Wine, 40 lbs of Hot Wings, Hot Sausage and a ton of food.... We had a great time!

Our family get together was hosted by Lois and Larry. We had a wonderful time with over 25 represented. Our parents would have been pleased. We had fun together in nature. Lots of laughter, card playing (Hand & Foot with girls; Texas Hold'em with guys), watching baseball playoffs, walks in woods & trip up tothe Fire Tower and to Seneca Point. Beautiful weather and lots of good food. Thanks be to God for our family and God bless Lois and Larry. Thank you.

We had a GREAT stay. We rode the go-carts and saw the deer at the deer ranch. We went for a walk and saw 3 doe and 2 fawns crossing the road. We also gathered acorns. And, we went to the huge yard sales in Hazen and got lots of treasures. Can't wait to come back next year.

I had a great stay. My family (Mom and Dad) reunited. I like the TV. Overall I loved my stay.

Once again we had a great time. We always look forward to when we can get time off to come here. Our first stay here in Hemlock Haven. We had friends here with us, some from New York. Celebrated Ken's 60th Birthday. Since he got his motorcycle, we (3 of us women) got him a blow up doll named Barbie that he could put on his bike to ride with, since I won't ride. We dressed the doll up with his new leather jacket & cap that I bought him for his birthday present. He was really surprised & shocked. The kids we had with us had a great time. We always walk up to the Fire Tower and this yer did miniature golf & bumper boats. Our new addition to our family, "Maxwell Von Baren" Dacshund puppy, loved the outdoors & space to really run! Cooked breakfast and supper over the open fire and had mountain pies & smores. Ken loves it here and never wants to go home. Here is the only time that I don't complain that he drinks too many beers! Larry & Lois have a great place here and are great people and friends! Thanks again for providing us with a beautiful & clean cabin. We'll be back as soon as possible!
