Guests have had several problems finding us using MapQuest because we are so rural. There is also a Forest Drive near us as well as our road, Forest Road, State Route 1015. If you use GPS, put in State Route 1015. We prefer you to use our directions which follow or go to http://maps.google.com/ and click on "Get Directions." You will then type in our entire company name: Cook Forest Top Hill Cabins. Google will give you a map directly to our place. You may also enlarge the map and print it out.

From Erie, PA
Take Route 8 South until you come to Titusville where you will get on Rt. 27 or Rt. 36 (this road turns into only Rt. 36 at Pleasantville). You stay on Rt. 36 going Southeast until you come to the town of Leeper. In Leeper, at the red light intersection you will find a Red & White Grocery Store on one corner and a Uni-Mart on the other. At this intersection, make a left and proceed approximately 6 to 7 miles until you come to the little town of Vowinckel. In Vowinckel, you will find the Vowinckel Hotel on the right side and immediately following this hotel, you would turn right. Proceed on this road, Forest Road, for approximately 3 miles and we are located on the left hand side of the road. We are directly across from Deer Meadow Campground and beside Trails End Restaurant.

From Pittsburgh, Ohio and West, Take I- 80E and exit at the Shippenville Exit 60
Proceed North on Route 66 until you arrive in the town of Vowinckel (approximately 20 miles). After the 20 miles, Vowinckel Hotel will be on your right and immediately after it, you will also turn right and proceed for approximately 3 miles. We are located on your left, across from Deer Meadow Campground and adjacent to Trails End Restaurant.

From NY, NJ and East, Take I- 80W and exit at the Brookville Exit 78
Proceed Northwest on Route 36 until you arrive in Cooksburg (approximately 20 miles). At this point, you will be near the Clarion River with MacBeth's Cabins and Grocery Store on the left. Proceed across the Clarion River Bridge and continue up Route 36 until you come to the Y in the road (only about 200 feet). The left of the Y continues on Route 36 and the right of the Y is Forest Road. You would take Forest Road and continue for approximately 3 miles. We are on the right hand side of the road with our office in a brick house. You will see Deer Meadow Campground on the left and Trails End Restaurant on the right. We are located adjacent to Trails End Restaurant and on the same side of the road.

Landmarks and What Happens When you Arrive?
Our Home Office is in our Red Brick Home. There is an American Flag in the front yard as well as our company sign for Cook Forest Top Hill Cabins. There is also a brick 3 car detached garage that is beside our house. When you arrive, you will pay your balance due, if any, and sign your cabin agreement. You will then be given the key and directions to your cabin.
