Searching for a rental CABIN in Pennsylvania near a State Park?

Cabins take the rough out of roughing it. Some call it glamping, short for glamorous camping. Our cabins, Cook Forest Top Hill Cabins, www.tophillcabins.com offer 12 cabin rentals that will give you a great experience – especially  for those of you who want to have a little more comfort while staying overnight close to Cook Forest State Park. And, if you choose to travel with your furry friends, we permit two pre-approved pets per cabin (additional fees apply).

You may ask,  what do I need to bring? Here are some suggestions:

  • Fire Starter to start your indoor or outdoor fire can be purchased at stores such as WalMart or any outdoor store.
  • Kindling for your indoor fireplace, especially in the Winter months as you may have problems starting your fire in the fireplace.
  • Towels for your showers
Paper Products: Paper Towels and Toilet Paper
  • DVD’s of your favorite movies
  • Plastic table cloth for the outdoor picnic table
  • Additional Lawn Chairs for around the Fire Pit area.
Flashlights and Candles (infrequently, there have been power outages in the forest and you want to be prepared.)
  • Insect repellent
  • Charcoal Lighter Fluid and Charcoal – BBQ grills available at each cabin
  • Charcoal Grill Utensils-BBQ grills available at each cabin
  • Hot Dog Sticks for the outside fire
  • Aluminum foil
  • Baggies and plastic wrap for food storage
  • Large kitchen garbage bags
  • Please Do not bring firewood. An initial supply of firewood which measures 6 cubic feet or 18″ x 24″ or 1/10th of a face cord is furnished with each cabin. If you need more firewood, the same size of firewood may be purchased on the premises

The location of the cabins is important, especially if you are booking with other parties who will be in separate cabins. We have a cabin location map if you want to request that, it would help you make your decision. Also, you may feel free to visit us to view the cabins. If the cabins are available, we will let you have keys to look inside. Otherwise, you can drive around our 22 acres to view where each cabin is located to help you make your rental cabin decision.
